What a great question! It will be my pleasure to break this down for you. I have made the conscious decision to only use and print on sustainable materials, here is everything in a bit more detail:

• A5 Print & A6 Postcard - The paper used for both the print and postcard is made from FSC® certified, 100% post-consumer waste. I get all my prints from VistaPrint, if you want to read more please click here (it’ll take you to VistaPrints website). By using recycled paper it reduces landfill waste and inherently saves trees, which makes it much more sustainable than virgin paper production.
• Bookmark - The bookmark is printed on hemp blend paper, consisting of: 30% hemp, 30% post-consumer recycled paper and 40% responsibly forested paper. Hemp is the new hot chick on the block when it comes to sustainability, here’s a quick accessible article for you to brush up your knowledge on how using hemp is leading towards a more sustainable future (click me!) • Love Letter - Made in Argentina, this paper is made from 100% sugarcane, with no tree fibres and no bleaching chemicals. Sugarcane is biodegradable and uses agricultural waste, rather than harvesting trees for traditional virgin paper. • Envelopes - Manufactured in the UK, the envelopes are FSC® certified - containing 80% recycled fibres and 20% ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) virgin fibres. If you would like to know more, here are the envelopes.

‘Why don’t you include stickers?’ You may ask. I personally LOVE stickers, but I have made the decision not to include stickers in the Print Club for a few reasons. The main one is that most traditional vinyl stickers are made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is considered one of the most damaging plastics for both the environment and your own health. Although there are many PVC free vinyl sticker options, they aren’t biodegradable. There are also difficulties with recycling them due to accessibility of collecting and sorting facilities. There are some AMAZING biodegradable, recycled, and plant based sticker options - but they come at a higher price. So to keep the Print Club as affordable as possible for you all, I won’t be able to include them.

I know I’m not perfect, and there are many more things I can improve on to lead a more sustainable life. But I know each step towards a more sustainable future is a win for me!

Each month will be based on a different animal / ecosystem, and you will be treated to the following…

• A5 Print
• A6 Postcard
• Bookmark
• Love letter (written by me, for you, mwuah), including reflections for the month, fun and might I say very interesting facts about the animal / ecosystem the month is based on, and how I think we can learn from the animal and implement it into our everyday life. Like how bears have an innate appreciation for nature, I think we should stop and smell the flowers more often.

I make everything with love and deep appreciation for the world around us, and I hope that comes across. I do think life (in a way) is about sharing love and knowledge with your friends, family, loved ones, and people who annoy you. Whether you can shout what you learn to the next person you see, or send the postcard to a relative in a distant land, I hope I can help you receive spread joy, in whatever way I can :)

The FUNK & FAUNA Print Club letter gets sent on the first day of every month. I send all letters with Royal Mail 2nd class letter stamps. Depending on where you are in the world, the shipping times will vary:

• UK babes - it should take between 3 - 5 business days to get to your door and through your letter box (if you have one). If you haven’t received it 2 weeks after the first of the month, please let me know here so I can get a new one sent to you as soon as I can!
• International babes - it will take a little longer to get to you, around 5 - 8 business days (I promise it’s worth the wait). If you haven’t received it 3 weeks after the first of the month, please contact me here so I can send you another one!

Yes bestie!!!! We want FUNK & FAUNA to be an international community! The more the merrier :)

If you’re in the UK and haven’t received your letter after 2 weeks of the FUNK & FAUNA Print Club being sent (they get sent on the first day of every month), please let me know here so I can send you a new copy as soon as possible!

If you’re an international babe and haven’t received your FUNK & FAUNA Print Club after 3 weeks of it being sent, again please let me know here so I can get a new one sent to you asap!

Once the Print Club for the month has been sent (first day of every month), the individual prints and complete Print Club letter will be available to buy, exclusive of the monthly subscription (if you’re scared of commitment, like me).

I will try to get the prints in varying sizes too, in limited stock, for all of your decorating and gifting needs :)

Of course! You can cancel your membership anytime from you account settings, I will be sad to lose you, you can be the one who got away </3

That is absolutely no problem! I know my art isn’t for everyone, and I want everyone to enjoy and love it as much as I enjoy and love making it. If you truly don’t like it, for whatever reason, it’s completely valid. First and foremost - I am so sorry!!! I know things like this happen, so just fill in the contact form (found here) to let me know what’s happened. Then once I reply, send me a photo of the damage and I’ll send you a new letter asap rocky!!

Your membership renews automatically each month on the same date you signed up. Do not fret - you can cancel your membership anytime from your account settings (there's no long-term commitment needed bestie).
